Fancy Donna Micro 2.5
Buoyancy: Sinking
These lures are made of solid metal, making them Sinking lures.
Slow Flutter: Because they are light (2.5g) but have a relatively wide surface area for their size, they have a very slow, graceful "fluttering" sink rate.
At Rest: If the retrieve is stopped, the spoon will tumble downward, flashing its colors to mimic a dying insect or small baitfish.
UL Gear Required: To cast a 2.5g lure effectively, you must use Ultra-Light (UL) tackle and thin line (typically 2lb–4lb test).
Diving Depth: 0.2m – 1.2m (Shallow to Mid)
These spoons are designed to be fished primarily in the upper water column.
Retrieve Control: On a steady medium retrieve, the spoon will naturally ride between 0.5m and 0.8m deep.
Surface Skimming: By keeping the rod tip high and reeling faster, you can make the lure wake just below the surface—perfect for fish feeding on a hatch.
Variable Depth: In still water or deep pools, you can let it sink for several seconds before reeling to target fish holding in the 1m–2m range.
Action and Visual Use
Erratic Wobble: The teardrop shape creates a high-frequency, side-to-side "micro-wobble" that is highly effective at triggering reactive strikes from finicky predators.
Single Hook Efficiency: Rigged with a single, fine-wire hook, these lures are designed for superior hook penetration in fish with small mouths while being much safer for catch-and-release.
Target Species: Specifically designed for Trout, Panfish, Perch, and Chub.
