Peanut Butter and Jelly Jerkbait
12g Slender Minnow with Owners Treble Hooks
Buoyancy: Suspending or Slow Sinking
At 12g, a slender minnow of this length (typically 90mm–110mm) is usually balanced to be Suspending (SP) or Slow Sinking.
The "Pause": Unlike the 20g model that sinks quickly, a 12g version is often designed to "hang" in the water column when you stop reeling.
Why it matters: This is a deadly "jerkbait" action. Predators often strike during the pause when the lure sits perfectly still in their face.
Diving Depth: 0.5m – 1.2m (1.5 – 4 feet)
The small, narrow clear lip indicates this is a shallow-running (SR) jerkbait.
Active Depth: On a steady retrieve, the lip will pull the lure down to about 3 feet deep.
Line Tension: You can keep it shallower by holding your rod tip high, or get it to its maximum depth by pointing the rod tip toward the water.
Action and Technique
Erratic Darting: This lure is designed for a "Twitch, Twitch, Pause" retrieve. The 12g weight gives it enough mass to dart sharply to the side when you snap the rod tip, mimicking a panicked baitfish.
Flash: The flat sides and metallic pink/gold finish are designed to catch and reflect light as it rolls and darts, making it visible from a long distance.
Target Species: Highly effective for Sea Bass, Smallmouth Bass, and Walleye.
