Short bill - 3 Gram Crankbait with Owner Hook

Buoyancy: Floating
A 3g crankbait with a round, bulbous body is designed to be Floating.

At Rest: It will sit on the surface. Because it is so light (3g), it has a high degree of buoyancy relative to its size.

Safety: If you stop reeling, it will float back up. This is perfect for fishing over "snaggy" areas like submerged grass or shallow rocks.

Diving Depth: 0.3m – 0.9m (1 – 3 feet)
The "Short Bill" (or shallow lip) means this lure is a Shallow Runner (SR).

The Bill's Role: The short, stubby lip doesn't have enough surface area to "dig" deep into the water. Instead, it creates a fast, tight wobble just under the surface.

Target Zone: It is designed to stay in the top 3 feet of the water column throughout the retrieve.

Action and Use Cases
High-Frequency Vibration: Because the body is small and the bill is short, this lure vibrates very rapidly. You will likely feel a "buzzing" sensation through your rod tip as you reel.

Wake Baiting: If you reel very slowly with your rod tip held high, you can make this lure "wake" (create a V-shaped ripple) right on the surface, which is a deadly technique for active fish in the evening.

Tackle Requirement: To cast a 3g crankbait effectively, you really need an Ultra-Light (UL) setup and thin line (4lb to 6lb test).

Target Species: This is a classic for Panfish (Bluegill/Crappie), Trout, Perch, and Smallmouth Bass.
